  1. 01

    The challenge

The goal was not simply to publish more content. The challenge was to build a consistent social media presence around specialist change-management expertise — turning complex topics into useful, shareable content, growing a relevant professional audience and keeping regular communication going across social media and newsletters.

  2. 02

    Research

The work started with understanding the target audience, the topics change professionals cared about, the existing content and expertise, platform behaviour and content performance.

  3. 03

    Strategy

The strategy focused on educational, practical and thought-leadership content rather than promotional posting. Content was repurposed across formats and channels, with LinkedIn as the primary platform for professional audience growth.

  4. 04

    Execution

Educational LinkedIn posts, infographics and visual explainers, long-form LinkedIn newsletter content, repurposing from existing expertise, Facebook and X distribution, ActiveCampaign email newsletters, consistent publishing, community engagement and organic distribution, performance analysis and content optimisation.

  5. 05

    Result

During the latest 12-month analytics period, the LinkedIn page generated 132,815 organic impressions and added 1,026 followers, with no sponsored distribution. Most publishing activity occurred while the channel was actively managed, followed by a visible decline after regular publishing stopped.

  6. 06

What we learned / what changed

The strongest lesson from the project was that consistency matters. A professional audience can be built organically when useful content is published consistently, supported by clear editorial themes, repurposing and regular engagement. After regular publishing stopped, organic distribution declined sharply.

What this project reinforced about LinkedIn growth

  • Consistency protects organic distribution.
  • Educational content creates stronger long-term value than constant promotion.
  • Repurposing strong ideas into multiple formats increases content efficiency.
  • Relevant audience growth matters more than vanity metrics.
